Coughing and Periodic Breathing

I have a miserable cold and have been coughing alot during the night. My AHI was 1.8 and Periodic Braething, which has always been 0%, was 2%. Could my cold be the cause of the increase in Periodic Breathing?

I usually have a Periodic Breathing of 0. The last few days I have had a cold and the machine is registering some Periodic Breathing. In my opinion, it is from the congestion and coughing even though my cold is mild.

Thanks Hawthorne, that's what I thought. I had a rough night last night. Hope this thing goes away...looks like I'll be in Dreamland when the New Year comes! Hope you have a peaceful, dreamy 2011!

My cold has not gotten too bad but I will be spending a quiet New Years Eve and not seeing in the new year at midnight. I'll be tucked up and dreaming by then I hope!
