Gettin a different machine

Post by kentoboo » Tue Dec 28, 2010 1:30 pm

I am getting a different machine, since mine has no data capability. I really need to know from you veterans which one to get. My insurance pays 80% so money is not the biggest issue!

I use the Resmed S9 auto and like it a lot but I believe that PR System One makes a fully data capable machine. It might be a good buy since you are familiar with the one you have.

The PR System One Auto since you already have the software.

the Auto with AFLEX... gives you full data capability, uses your current humidifier and software, and gives you a lot of flexibility with different modes.

I, too, would go with the the Respironics Auto...in fact, that's what I have!

The Plus has only the basic data, and CPAP only.
The Pro has full data but is still CPAP only.
The Auto has full data and can be run in either CPAP or AutoPAP mode.

If the price difference is significant, the Pro is good, but many like the flexibility of the Auto.

I like the Resmeds--only due to that is what I already have been using. I have the RS8 Elite but am trying to get the new Resmed S9 auto --:) take a look at the machines on CPAP.COM first to see which ones you might like better when you look at the size, the features etc. Hope this helps,
Carrie
