CMS-50D connection issues: Solved

Post by drj130 » Sat Dec 18, 2010 8:05 am

Is there anyone else who might be or did have problems with their CMS-50D+ connecting under Windows 7? I was able to connect it to my computer while I was in Afghanistan, and now I can't. Does anyone have any ideas, I've tried many different cables, 3 different computers (XP, Vista, and 7). I'm at a loss here. The only think that I can come up with, is that the pulseox connection port went bad. When I connected it to the other two machines it was ID'd as a USB hub.

Any help would be great, thanks.

David

AFAIK the only cable that will work is the one that came with the unit. If you are using that one and it 's not working then you may be right and the connection has gone bad.

Paradiddle has had problems with a new 50d+

Well crap, now I have to figure out where that cable is. I just don't remember what it looked like.

Just went through all of my cables again and this darn thing still isn't working. Guess I'll just have to look for a new pulseox.
Oh well.

After talking to someone who lives in the barracks as well, it seems that I gave them the needed Cable.

snnnark, thanks for pointing out the cable issue.

Always learning something here,
