My new doctor received my records from my old one, and there is no indication at all why I was switched to ASV... data showed I was doing okay on the bipap. However, since that doc told my insurance company that I needed the ASV instead of the bipap, I can't be switched back to that machine and be covered by insurance (they won't pay for something that doesn't work for me.... and won't accept the new doctor's argument that it DID work).
So now I'm on an ASV with all the ASV features being turned off so that it runs simply as an auto bipap.
Expensive bipap....
Re: Expensive bipap....
Set Max PS to 10. Then it will run simply as an ASV.Bons wrote:So now I'm on an ASV with all the ASV features being turned off so that it runs simply as an auto bipap.
