Bravo II users???

Post by cortez356 » Mon Dec 13, 2010 10:13 am

Last night I finally was able to properly use my Swift FX. But I still have a problem getting the pillows sealed. The medium pillows are too small and the Large are just a little too large. I can get the large to work but it takes a lot of adjusting. I have my headgear very loose and lsat night I had almost zero leaks. I would like to try another nasal interface and saw the Bravo II on the Respcare site. I like the design of the pillows. Has anyone had success with that system? Any big cons?

Thanks

Bob

It is really very hard to make suggestions re masks, since everyone is so different when it comes to what will work and not work.

Since I did try the Bravo 11, I will share my experience. I could not get the pillows to sit in my nostrils at all. I could not get them to angle right for me. That doesn't mean that it may not be a great mask for you.

Thanks Hawthorne: There is not much info on the Bravo II but I seem to recall something similar to your comment. Thanks again.

Price looks good, but for a side sleeper it looks like it will have hoses digging in your head or pulling on the nasal pillows. I think if you were exclusively a back sleeper it would be worth a try. john

I can't get the FX to be at the correct angle easily but I can the LT. I am now using the LT with a panty hose tie similar to the elastic fix I had posted. It holds the headgear in place with a knot on the back strap and looped into the face pieces and then tied wherever convenient (back or side) around the base of the head.
