Re: how many out there use provigil?
Talk to your doctor about a different dose? Maybe you can start out on a lower dose, then work your way up? I've never taken it, but I'm curious about it.
Does it just keep you from being sleepy, or does it boost your energy as well?

Re: how many out there use provigil?
I started out on 100 mg of Provigil for about a month--didn't work for me. 200 mg showed daytime improvement and I started a trial of 400 mg today, per my neurologist.
Provigil does have a long half life--15 hours or so? Provigil is used to decrease extreme daytime sleepiness. I have seen an increase in my energy, because I don't feel so tired and run down, but it doesn't make me Superwoman I don't take it as an energy pill, I take it so I don't feel like oatmeal all day.
What dose are you taking? What time did you try to go to sleep?

Hi, he prescribed 200mg. but I don't intend to take it anymore. I always go to bed at 10pm,same thing every night.
I really didn't see any difference in the way I felt, just wasn't sleepy all night and all the next day.
I slept really good last night though.
GOD BLESS YOU!
