I have been using my cpap machine since approx October 1st. I feel more energized than I did before. I've been off work most of the time, recovering from surgery, so when i go back to work I'll see how i do. I suspect I will not be so sleepy at work like I have been the past 2 years.

the one thing Im getting used to is the chin strap because I'm a mouth breather. I could not stand waking up with such a dry mouth from snoring with the cpap. Anyway, its like wearing a jock strap around your head all night.. haha.. so thats kinda funny. And it is a bit constricting as opposed to wearing nothing on your face, so its something I am getting used to.

I beleive I'm sleeping hard thru the night, not tossing and turning, because I wake up with that little back ache you get when you've been sleeping in one position all night. so i know im not moving around as much at night, but that makes me get more deeper sleep. When I wake up in the morning, I am often in the same position as when i fell asleep. so im guessing im sleeping in one position all night.

so im happy with my machine and I hope to lose some weight so that maybe one day my sleep apnea will go away and i can go to bed without all this stuff, but I am thankful for having the cpap machine if it will save my life!
