Week One of CPAP in Books

Post by B_4 » Tue Nov 02, 2010 8:15 am

Well 1 week on CPAP is done. So far, I am nicer to be around, more attentive to my wife, more patient with my children, more mentally awake, better focused at work, and I have more energy during the day. I guess sleeping without suffocating is important. Who knew?

Thanks ya'll for all the help and support.

Sounds as if you figured out how to fly that consarned contraption!

Glad we could help. THAT is why most of us participate here. Others helped us in the past. We wish to "Pay It Forward" and help others. By doing that we try to make the Journey others are undertaking a bit easier.

May your dream of dreams come true nightly!

What John said. Left to the mercy of the medical/industrial/insurance complex we'd all be in the dark.

B_4,

Glad to hear your first week has gone so well and that you are feeling some real benefits to using the machine.

Me, I'm still waiting and it's almost the end of week 6. Boy is my hubby getting tired of how snarly I've been since starting CPAP. He's a good man, though, and he's being as patient as he can with my snarlyness.

Thansk everyone. I still have room for improvement. The nasal pillows tickle my nose from time to time during the night and my AHI is running at about 5 (Almost all centrals). Hopefully there is even more room for improvement!
