Hi All,
I am a new CPAP user... Last night was my third night with my REMstar Pro C-Flex +. And thanks to all the excellent information provided on this site I feel that I am able to weather all the adjustments to this therapy. By reading various threads, I have been able to anticipate possible issues and used the tips offered to sidestep issues before they are a problem ie- rainout, air leaks, and sleeplessness due to the newness of the experience.
Even though this is the 1st time I have posted, I have been an avid reader on this site as I waited first for my sleep study, then for my follow up with the DR, and now AT LAST actually using my machine. I just wanted to introduce myself and to let you all know just how helpful you have been to my journey down this road.
Thanks!
Brenda
Thanks!
Re: Thanks!
Welcome to the group, Brenda! And congratulations on educating yourself enough to get things to work from the start. May you have continued success!

Re: Thanks!
Hi Brenda!
Welcome!
so glad youve been getting so much out of all the reading.. youre one smart cookie!
here is how to add your machine and other information..
after you go to the user control panel upper left on screen
click on profile, then click edit equipment.. and add your machine and everything else.. and there is room to put comments
there too..
choose text for the machine instead of image, its easier for everyone to see what you have that way..

Re: Thanks!
Thank you all for your welcome and kind words.
Well, the 1st week in drawing to a close, and things are going well. I don't feel outrageously energized yet, but I am definitely not exhausted like I was before... I can do more than just a couple of things in a day and not feel "spent" .
I have read of people having their blood pressure go down and losing weight etc.. How long before one might enjoy these benefits? I am REALLY looking forward to perhaps being able to do away with my BP meds- at least reduce them and would love to see some pounds disappear! Having more energy in general is great.
One day I noticed that I seemed to be able to think more clearly and was quicker at work... Maybe just wishful thinking, but I'll take it The only thing I regret is not doing this sooner!
Cheers!
