Dreaming

Post by boosmum » Sun Oct 17, 2010 5:29 pm

Ok, so the APAP thing is working really well for me and i must be getting some decent sleep because my goodness i'm having some VERY weird dreams most nights now LOL!

I used to tell people "I don't dream" because I never ever could recall a dream or it was a very rare thing.

Last night I dreamt something about being shot by a guy on a rampage etc... and laughed at myself when I actually nearly checked my shoulder blade in the mirror to see how my wound was healing up after I had my shower this morning... thats how real my dreams are!!! The night before it was about my house/suburb being over run by MASSIVE big black spiders.

Does this mean i'm getting more REM sleep or something? Anyone else experienced the return of dreams?

Holy Moly! I'd have a heart attack if I dreamed about big spiders....LOL! I'd say you have having some REM sleep, for sure. I am also dreaming much more....albeit much more tranquil scenarios REM is when we recharge our batteries and do our dreaming so I imagine you will be having some great refreshing sleep! Congratulations!!
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.

LOL I might have to try some meditation before bed time to see if I can induce some of the more tranquil dreams to occur I did NOT particularly enjoy the spider dream since I do have a spider phobia. Actually here in Australia we get Huntsman spiders and this is what was in the dream. If you don't know what they are... google at your own risk

I peeked at the Huntsman spider... a beauty!! Here in Florida, we have the Banana spider.... along the same scariness!! I truly appreciate spiders for their variety and web building skills....but I don't like encounters up close and personal.
