If anybody has used both of these, what are the differences and which do you recommend? Specifically the "for her" versions, but comments on the regular would be helpful as well.
I'm moving to nasal pillows for the first time and I had asked for the FX but what they sent was LT. I slept last night with it and it was fine, so I was wondering if it was worth arguing over.
Swift LT vs Swift FX

Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
Re: Swift LT vs Swift FX
Haven't used both of them, but I did try both of them on at the DME before choosing the FX.
The LT has these L-shaped cheek frame things that help stabilize the pillows position while the FX does not have those L-shaped cheek frame things. If the L-shaped cheek frames fit your face, I'm sure that the difference between the two masks is probably minor, with the LT maybe better because those L-shaped frames should do a better job of keeping the pillows in place. And if I recall, the LT allows you to pivot the pillows to get the angle that they are setting against your nose correct. The FX doesn't have an easy way of adjusting the angle of the pillows against your nose. The FX's strengths lie in its flexibility and softness and the fact that if it works for you, the headgear can be set really loosely. But those very same "strengths" do mean some folks feel like the placement of the pillows is not very stable and they find small movements trigger more leaks in the FX than in the LT.
So all in all, I think choosing between the two masks is largely a matter of personal preference.
For me: Well, I've got these really pronounced, high cheekbones with somewhat hollow cheeks. And the L-shaped cheek frames on the LT for her wound up digging into the hollows of my cheeks in a most uncomfortable way. I'm absolutely sure my problem with the LT is the structure of my face and not some kind of design flaw in the LT.

Re: Swift LT vs Swift FX
LT is older model, Fx is a more recent nasal pillow. Some claim Fx is more comfortable.
I've tried both, consistently get much lower Ai numbers with LT. I now switch back btw Headrest and LT.
If you're doing fine with the LT, stick with it.

Re: Swift LT vs Swift FX
I have had two Swift LTs, 'LT' and' 'LT For Her'. Had success with it and low AHI with high comfort level. For most recent mask replacement I got FX. I love that it is even more lightweight than LT.
After one week on it, I am experiencing some nasal discomfort upon awakening. Changed sizes from large down to medium. It made a slight change. The FX fits below the nose different than LT and I also experienced some gum discomfort. I may switch to small pillow to see difference.
I think the LT or FX is a good mask for me.

Re: Swift LT vs Swift FX
Thanks all. My 2nd night wasn't as good as the first, in fact I couldn't sleep with the pillows at all - immediate pressure and pain over the left side of my face and behind the eye, presumably sinus issues. Hopefully tonight will be better.
