Humidifier for IP Auto - I'm in shock!

Post by Julie » Sat Oct 09, 2010 9:53 am

Hi, I got the machine with no humidifier because I never needed it with the Remstar Legacy, but now want the one for the Intellipap... do you know that if I'd gotten it with the machine it would have been $30., but by itself is $149.!! I don't suppose anyone has a nice one they aren't using?

Where did you get it from? Maybe you can call and explain to the DME or supplier that you would have ordered the machine with it, but you didn't realize you were going to need it.

Hopefully, you have a good experience with this DME or supplier and plan on buying your supplies from them in the future. Surely they will make more money off of you buying a lifetime of supplies than charging you through the nose for this one item if you never come back to them again.

Or, you could tell them you want to return the machine and order a new one from someone else with the humidifier. Don't know if that would work, but it's worth trying.

Thanks, but half the problem is that I already exchanged a PR System 1 with them, and they made a big fuss about that, plus one of the two guys on the phone is a real old jerk who I don't want to deal with any more, and the other guy (owner) is not a lot better. I guess anything's worth a try, but I don't see that happening soon. Thanks anyhow!

Oh, Julie... that is a shame. Call SecondWindCpap and see if they have a 'gently used' one on hand. 1-507-629-8232

--and (important note): if you don't get what you need from them, their competitors are just waiting in the wings.
Losing any customer can cost very big bucks in the long run.
--Apparently, some don't 'get' that yet. . . UN- OR UNDER-treated patients tend to DIE!
