Patients who have difficulty achieving adequate asthma control should be screened for obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), conclude researchers at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health, Madison.

I have a vision that we will figure out an easy way to ensure that children develop wide, deep, healthy and attractive jaws and then obstructive sleep apnea becomes an obscure bit of history.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ycw4uaX ... re=related

Interesting, my asthma has certainly gotten better since starting CPAP, but I'm not a good anecdotal subject because the OSA got diagnosed after I had a very bad bout of asthmatic bronchitis and at the same time my asthma meds were adjusted and I got religous about taking them.

I can't say for sure CPAP has helped, in that case, but I really feel like it has contributed to keeping things under control. Breathing filtered air all night hasn't hurt, and better oxygenation levels must be a good thing, too.
