Sleep disorders and STD. (med school paper)

Post by Starone » Mon Oct 04, 2010 5:35 pm

My friend wrote that you can get sleep disorders by having sex with someone who has a sleep disorder. He got 87. On the paper. Theory work does not work on essays. The teacher is pissing me off.

So if you have insomnia you need to find a sex partner with sleep apnea to cure your insomnia?

Well, I don't know about the sex part, but you can certainly get a sleep disorder--insomnia--trying to sleep with a bed partner who snores so loud it will take the roof off the house. Interestingly enough, it can be cured by having your bed partner go on CPAP.

A really GREAT sex partner---yet one with chronic insomnia---can probably keep a "lucky but not 100% lucky" partner up all night...

I'm thinking there's probably some fair wiggle room to call THAT a sexually transmitted sleep disorder.

I think you mean that your friend wrote that you can get a sexual disease by sleeping with someone who has one, not that you can get a sleep disorder by having sex with someone who has one.... You know, the euphemism, sleeping together....

I met some of those but that was during the Great Sexual Revolution called the 60's & 70's - I could do that and still show up for work and write decent code back then..... sigh

Kids today are wimps

Seriously, my daughter is applying for schools this year. Which school so I can make sure she does not attend it?

Well, when I call most doctors idiots - now no one can object! Maybe doctors can sleep with intelligent people and improve their intelligence and figure things out for a change!
