Pulse Oximeter CMS 50-E

Post by SharonC » Sun Oct 03, 2010 1:25 pm

I have loaded the info from the oximeter to the computer from last night and wonder what the little bars that show up mean at the bottom of the window/graph. They are placed sporadically through the night. Anyone know?

Those are the desat events you had throughout the night. These represent a drop in O2 sat by at least 4% for a minimum of 10 seconds. In the Pulse section, these events represent a change in your pulse rate by at least 6 bpm for a minimum of 8 seconds.

Under the Summary Report, you will see these definitions as "Analysis Parameters"

Hope this helps!
Yes, that blue eyed beauty is my cat! He is a seal point, bi-color Ragdoll. I adopted him in '08 from folks who could no longer care for him. He is a joy and makes me smile each and every day.
