Full nights sleep at last!

Post by Rgbob » Mon Sep 27, 2010 10:09 am

After almost 2 weeks of sleeping only 2 to 4 hours a night , changes in masks and pillows, adjustments in humidity, experimenting with taping my mouth shut and just sheer unadulterated frustration, it all finally came together! I have two 8 hour dream filled nights under my belt and more energy than I've had in years!
If you're new at this and frustrated, let me tell you, the end result is worth it. Don't give up!

Thanks for all the help out there. I would have given up after the second night if it weren't for you!

So which mask are you using?

I have had one full nights sleep now after over 20 years. I think my husbands sleep has caused a lot of my sleep problems after being on cpap. It is a wonderful thing. I took that for granted for so many years now it is my dream.

Thanks for the great comments!
Rooster, I ended up with the Mirage Liberty. I know this is for mouth breathers but I found that when I went to sleep and my mouth opened I ended up waking and gasping for breath. Once I taped my mouth that stopped. I can probably go to just a nasal pillow mask now.

I have a swift given to me by my brother for backup but I love my Breeze. A bit fragile at times but very easy to get on and off for those trips to the bathroom.
always a hosehead, almost a hoser.
