Changing Settings On A Machine

Post by SleepytimeT » Sat Sep 25, 2010 8:45 pm

Hi everyone,
Can anyone tell me how to change the settings on my machine. My settings are currently at 12 but I am still waking up tired and I was thinking about experimenting with the settings. I think I need to be at a 13 or 14 (just making a guess and hoping it will work). Doctor is very uncooperative. I told him I didn't think the settings were strong enough and he said, "That is what they titrated you at. That is where they stay." He also gave me a prescription for Nuvigil and when my insurance didn't cover it I called to see if they could give me something else and he said we'll discuss it at the next appointment .. a month away. All the complaining in the world is getting me NOWHERE! I'm getting so frustrated.

Thanks so much Den and Tony, there is no doubt about that! I'm quite sure that is what is going on.
I would switch providers but my insurance doesn't cover any other neurologist. I'm completely disgusted with them.
