pressure 19

Post by Guest » Tue Sep 14, 2010 7:15 am

Hello

They put me on a different machine this time a m series auto. My pressure last night at 90% was 19 my AHI was 6.3 and my leak was 52%.

Could my leak rate cause my pressure to go to 19?

Thanks

Since leak is not measured in percentages, I'm going to assume your 90% leak was 52 liters/minute. That is exactly in line with the vent rate for the Quattro at your pressures (48 l/m at 16 cm H2, 51 at 18), so your leaks are about as low as they get.

What other machine(s) have you used and at what pressures. What were your results?

Hello

They had me on a PR system one in straight cpap with a pressure of 16. They took that away from me and put me on this for two weeks to see if I really need a pressure of 16. They said the system one was not working right and could not read the data on the card. I had no problem reading it but they are the boss i guess.

Last night was the first night on the remstar auto I will look at the stats again after tonight and see what I get.

Thanks
