Hi Everyone,
I was wondering if any one has found that they were waking up burping before they were aware of their sleep apnea and got treatment? I have been doing this a few times a week for the past month or so. I was talking about it to my acupuncturist thinking it was some belly thing but something I read in the earlier posts triggered my into asking.
BTW I am finally going to get my cpap today (woohoo) and I can barely contain my excitement.
Another question... I am concerned about using a humidifier as I can't stand breathing in warm air. I can't even cope to put my head under a sheet and try to breathe then. Will using a himidifier give me warm air in my nose?
Any suggestions on alternatives? I live in Sydney, Australia so I don't get very cold weather.
Thanks

It's really not Warm air, probably actually a little less than body temp but more than room temp. You probably have Obstructive Sleep APnea and that alone will make it difficult for you to breathe under the covers. The heat makes the humidity more effective, your really need it. If you get the one with Ambient Tracking it will automatically adjust the heat setting. I find it is still slightly cool.
