Anyone Use a Total Face Mask?

Post by Sheriff Buford » Mon Aug 30, 2010 6:06 am

I am using a mirage liberty full face mask and the leakage around my nose is driving me nuts!! I've tried taping my nose to prevent the leaks but had no sucess. I started using a full face mask, and after several tries, the mask wore horrible sores on my nose because I have a high bridge. I am tempted to try a total face mask. They don't seem to be readily available and I am wondering if anyone has any sucess using one?

Hi Sheriff...The Ultra Mirage FF Mask comes in additional sizes for high nose bridges....their masks comes in standard and shallow sizes. You should try it.

I tried one for about half an hour. There was no way it was ever going to seal on my boney face, and it only comes in one size. If you have a larger, fuller face I could see it working, but it was definitely not for me.

I think I lasted maybe an hour with one. I didn't like it at all. For me, it poked into the side of my face terribly when sleeping on my side. It just wasn't comfortable for me.

I've used the FitLife but couldn't get the Total Face. (both cover the face - the Total just a bit more of it). I can't get the leaks at the forehead to stop, but others have and love it. I now use the Hybrid which doesn't sit on the nose (there are nasal pillows connected to an oral mask.)

I tried the fitlife mask, and it leaked badly at my temples..

its shaped like a triangle, and my face is not a triangle..

I think they should redo the design, as it seems like it could be a very good mask..
