reading my graph/charts, need assistance

Post by sleepymama » Sun Aug 29, 2010 4:23 pm

I have no idea what some of the titles mean when looking at my data information. in leakage i have 3 categories.
it's measured in L/min.
median
95th percentile
maximum

out of the 4 days worth of data 2 of them have a median of 0 but they have numbers in the other 2 areas. can anyone decipher these for me?
i was also wondering what the difference between AHI and apnea index is? i noticed two number readings however hypopneas are in the AHI only. anyone know why?

in the graph it allows me to see mask events. is that the duration that i had the mask on each time consistently? some of the duration are as long as 8hrs.

hopefully someone out there understands all this medical jargon. i go to see the sleep doctor tomorrow so if i'm having any issues i'd like to know so i can let him know. thanks so much.

figured out how to get the detailed data and wow what an eye opener. my dh was shocked to see all the events. it looks like a lot. i am leaking alot too by the looks of the graph. i'm not sure how much to go by the graph rather then the numbers.

Maximum leak is the highest you ever go to.
Median is something you spent haft the night at. A median of 0 means you had 0 leaks for half the night. Or, in other words, for half the night you had more than 0 leaks.
The 95th percentile means you exceeded that number for only 5% of the time, and were at it, or beneath for the other 95%.
