bad cushion right from the start?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or it's just me? It seems like the cushion I got this time, brand new still in the package from the manufacturer, was bad right from the start (this is a quattro cushion I'm talking about). It seems like it just wouldn't stick to my face from the first night and the leaks have been high and my sleep has not been that great for the last month. I've done my usual face washing, mask cleaning...everything I usually do that gets a good seal and good sleep. I've noticed this with other cushions, seems like every now and then I get a new one that's cruddy right from the start.
