mirage liberty mask

Post by koolkathy » Fri Aug 27, 2010 4:35 pm

I was looking for feedback regarding the resmed mirage liberty mask. I currently use a mirage quatro full face, but find it difficult at times due to my eyeglasses.
If you have the liberty, do you like it, does it work well throughout the night? thank you for your feedback

Thanks, I have been thinking about getting the liberty, but not sure my insurance will cover, so it would probably be out of pocket. I'll check back on Monday to see how you made out.

I have the Liberty but have only been using it for a week so you can't go by me. So far it's not bad. It is definitely better than the Quattro was on my nose. I still get a few leaks, so I bought some Remzzzs mask liners and they definitely help. I also bout some microfabric strap covers for the Liberty on http://www.padacheek.com because I think those will be softer against my face.

Is there any chance you can test drive the mask before buying it?

Not sure i can try it out first. I was also looking at the hybrid mask. I usually, but not always, get deep creases on my nose and down one side of my face. They sometimes take several hours to go away. Between that and the glasses,I thought I would start looking into another option. I had a swift nasal pillow system, but I am a mouth breather. Tried the chin straps, but they didn't work too well.
