Picture

I want to post a picture of myself on the posts and have tried several times using the website site instructions. I am not 'puter literate!! Can someone please jog down the steps to do this? I don't even know what a URL is. Thanks, Sheriff

The instructions might very well be too involved for you to follow.

Basically, if you have Windows and a program called "Paint," it has the capability of sizing your picture so that it meets the guidelines of the forum for avatars.

The rules are that the picture must not exceed 150 pixels vertically or horizontally, and its total size must not exceed 150 kilobytes (KB).

Sometimes you have to re-jigger the pixel dimensions to avoid exceeding the total size restriction. My avatar, for example is 117 x 120 pixels, and 18.3 KB. You can find the total size of your picture by putting the cursor over it, right-click your mouse, and select "Properties."
