Study for reduced risk of stroke with CPAP machine?

Is there a study showing a reduced risk of stroke or death for those with normal sleep apnea when a CPAP machine is used? I was about to change health insurance carriers but was turned down because I have sleep apnea. I have used a CPAP machine for over 10 years and was shocked that I was rejected. I would truly appreciate any help!

Check the thread "IMPORTANT New Apnea Study" posted today. Unfortunately, I don't think this is going to help your case but might be something the ins co will reference as reason for rejection.
