Interesting article.....but what I kind of like about CPAP is that it is a solution to a medical problem that DOESN'T require drugs and has very few side effects, doesn't attack your liver, you don't have to worry about the long-term effects, etc.

Very interesting--thanks for sharing.
It would be great to merely swallow a pill before retiring rather than having to don our Darth Vader equipment every night! It seems nothing is without it's hitches though as all meds seem to have their share of undesirable side effects along with their magic cure for the problem so----Image

It is good to know that there is research being done for an alternative to cpap therapy.
I checked the side effects of Mirtazapine, and it doesn't look like something I would use unless as a last resort.

Ewwwwww...read those side effects. Lots and lots of concern about increased hunger and weight gain. Like we need that in our lives! (most of us anyway)...

I'll just stick with Harvey the hose, thank you.
