Ap22, I see the makings of a good young lab rat in you.

And. ... I see a savvy young man:
From what I can tell, it just came out a few months ago so I would assume thats why it is not being supported. That and its a new company so I'm sure the kickbacks haven't been properly handed out to the DMEs to carry and push their products.
It's all about who gets to 'em (the DMEs) offering the most profitable deals. The big players already have the advantage, of course. Doesn't have to be kickbacks. Could just be a ton of unCOMFORTable masks free or at very low prices, if you'll push our machines. Give the DMEs something to mark up and make lotsa profit on.

Doesn't matter if it bores a hole into the bridge of the user's nose or leaks all night. Hey, most of these cpap users are gonna drop out anyway, aren't they? No need to worry about them or spend time working with them, really. More newly diagnosed ones will be coming through the door. Just keep 'em coming.

Oh well, I guess its good for now that companies like AEIOmed are not playing that game. Sounds like they are doing things right, and putting that effort and money into developing something actually useful. A mask that is confortable? A unit that is good for travelling? Gasp

Actually there seem to be several that are good for travelling, I do not seem to have one of those which is a shame since I travel to England two weeks of each month. Jetlag+stressful job+late hours+apnea= tired person.

Anyways, hopefully forums like this will help do the work for these new companies that are trying to do things right and get the word out. Either it will help them flourish, or make the bigger companies have to change their game to keep up.

Hah I had a long day and need something to rant about, and Rested's comments got me going. Im sure there are masks and machines out there that are great, but as long as there isn't a reason to make them better, do you think they will really strive to reinvent the wheel and come up with something completely new to help us?

Ok I'm better now

Goodnight

A@22,

I have to say, I don't believe you're 22. You are wise well beyond your years. Some people have book smarts, others common sense. You, my dear, seem to have both. You don't sound 22 to me. You are like a breath of fresh air. And to people breathing in masked air all night, that is a welcome treat. So glad you found us. Look forward to reading more of your posts.

By the way, post a photo so I can put you in our online yearbook!!!

My camera was just destroyed and I don't have any pictures of myself how I look now (after "growing up" I cleaned up after I graduated college since I got a good job, yay insurance)

I will get one soon though. Hah Ill shave before I take it and you'll think I'm 16, not 22. My beard adds a few years.

Anyways thanks for the continual kind words, they are appreciated.

I want to go to sleep,
