Hi everyone! I have had 2 nights with my cpap, today I had to use my inhaler..I haven't used it in over a year. It could be allergies, but I am wondering if using the machine could he causing the wheezing?? Any ideas?

Hi, debidew, and welcome.
I'm very new at using a CPAP, too. The first night I used mine, I woke up with a runny nose that ran all day. I took a decongestant, dried up, and had no more problems.
Then, I added a humidifier. That change brought about another runny nose. Again, though, it only lasted one day. I think the changes themselves (using a CPAP for the first time, using a humidifier for the first time, etc..) bring on the sinus issues for me. Once I experience the change, then the sinuses dry up and behave.
As you read posts here, you'll find that many folks deal with congestion when using CPAP. There are myriads of solutions sprinkled among the posts and you're bound to find some solutions that work for you!

I think most of us will agree, we had nose problems when we first started on a pap machine.
I have been on a machine for over a year and find it nice not to have had any periods of runny nose, or a cold.
I do use Flonase regularly.
