I started this journey 5 years ago, it didn't work and I quit after a couple of months. Now my apnea is worse; did the sleep study and titration and got all new equipment. I have a dual pressure machine 16 over 12. I got home at noon and hooked up for my afternoon nap that I have been taking for the last 5 years. I fell into a deep sleep and when I was awakened I was woozy and took a bit to get my head straightened out.
I have lots to learn and I have this tattle tale data card I have to send in; about 55 days from now that will tell "them" how I have been doing, machine usage etc. I switched from a full face mask to the new Liberty full face mask with nasal pillows and it seems to work fine. Have to get used to the high pressure, am ramping up for 5 minute period.
More on how I am doing later. any questions? comments? suggestions?
New Equipment - 5years later.
Re: New Equipment - 5years later.
Well...I'm glad you are back on the hose...although you don't sound like you are fully on board with it. Maybe this time you will feel much better and will find the trouble worth it. good luck!bilnap wrote:I started this journey 5 years ago, it didn't work and I quit after a couple of months.
