Respironics System One Auto

Post by Vader » Mon May 17, 2010 1:34 pm

Hey ya'll. Haven't visited this board in a very long time, but I was wondering if anyone here can provide the "magic code" or procedure required to change from AUTO to straight CPAP mode?
I know how to do do this on the older style Respironic machines, but it appears to be a different procedure for this newer model.
I'd appreciate any help. Thanks in advance!

I don't have a link to the manual, search the board and you'll find a link to the Auto Clinicians manual. You probably need to got into the clinician menu which can be reached by pressing both buttons down and holding them for 5-6 seconds. After that, I have no idea, but would caution you to be careful with your setting changes, and keep track of what you changed and when.

Good luck

Turn the dial until setup is highlighted, then press and hold the round button and the ramp button for 3-5 seconds. You are now in clinicians mode.

Thanks for the replies, guys! I didn't expect the solution to be so obvious. All they did was eliminate the step of disconnecting the power cord before holding down the buttons. Imagine that? They made it easier!

Good health and God's Blessings to Ya'll!
