the aussie hose should take care of your problem. I have one but I find it keeps the air too warm for me. I am going to replace the power adapter with the 9 vold universal that was recommended on this site. That will reduce the temperature in the hose. I dont have a problem right now with rain out but during the cold winter months it becomes an issue.
for folks that cant afford the aussie there is an innovative reptile heater alternative also posted in this site. If i had not all ready purchased the aussie i would have tried that.
