The "other" forum is closed until October 24th.


Anal...he's just anal. Can't watch and edit, so close it down for a while.
Way to lose visitors that need help.


I've wanted to say that for a long time. Anyone who goes there will know which one I'm referring to.

Yup..know which one you mean. "sleepnet" lol! Amazing that people stick with it there, where the ability to give practical information and links is squelched. It's too bad that board has been around long enough that it shows up near the top of so many search engines when new people go looking for "sleep apnea message boards" and such phrases.

The worst thing about that other site is that you cannot post to it at night. Imagine a site devoted to insomnia and other sleep disorders that it shut down at night! Ha!

I don't get it. Why would you close because you have to travel? I am sure there are members there that would moderate for them. Sucky form software BTW.. So 90's....

That was the first apnea site I ever stumbled upon.
I did get some good info from it, but the way its run went from being a bad joke to just plain creeping me out. And after writing a bunch of replies, after I kept forgetting its limited hours, and then being "reminded" I had just wasted my time and couldn't submit the reply, AFTER writing them, I finally left in disgust. I haven't even stopped in for many months.

its too bad really. Definitely a bit of a Control Freak running that one.

Now THIS forum ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and many MANY thanks to the hosts for keeping it user friendly!
