Fifi, why don't you call Respironics technical support at 1-800-345-6443 and ask them directly.

Good question, I don't see why not.

Cos I am not in US otherwise I would have. The country I am in no one is really sure.

Just alot of money to pay out if they are not compatible or if it affects the auto function.

Fifi,

I just called Respironics and spoke to Sam in technical support. The Remstar Heated humidifer is the only Heated Humdifier that will work with the Remstar Auto w/ C-Flex. I asked specifically if the HC150 or HC100 would work and he said "no". I guess this isn't the answer you wanted, but now you can decide to spend more money or none at all.

I so appreciate your doing that for me. A massive thank you . That is exactly what I was worried about.

The the rep for respironics I spoke to today over here, said it would be absolutely fine, which I doubted. The reason I was dubious was the auto set spirit I borrowed really did not like the F&P and threw a wobbly. So I guess the same applies for the Remstar.

Thanks ICP

I use the resmed pro with c-flex along with an f&p hc150, and it works fine, maybe repironics wants you to $$buy their stuff?

I'm a bit confused. I thought C-Flex was proprietary to Respironics.

Now I really am confused. Big Snore thank you for your imput.

Big snore to be honest I would much rather use my F&P 150 as I have grown very fond of it over the years and would prefer to use my old faithful.

May I just ask you how long you have been using the 2 machines together and how do you know that the readings that you get from your remstar are not affected by the F&P?

Do you have soft ware card reader for your machine?

I have been using machines together for one year with no known problems...however i do not yet have the software, I was unaware it existed until I found this forum a few short weeks ago. I will probably purchase it soon..
