I think seamaiden is putting the wire around the tubes at about the same place where I put velcro around it as a "Final Tweak"....the red piece in this pic.

Disregard that the headgear is removed in this picture. Just zero in on the spot marked in red. That tweak to pull the tubes closer to each other works well to deal with those last tiny leaks whether you're using the Aura's own headgear or not.

Pulling the tubes together more can even make a slightly leaky "Large" nasal pillows assembly suddenly become as leakproof as the "Medium".

Okay, RG. I have to ask this. I probably know the answer already, but do you really like the deconstructed Aura better than the regular one? You didn't find it easier to just slip the headgear on and maybe put a leg or two around the headgear (boy, that sounded weird, didn't it?)?

I have been debating since my husband told me he woke up in the middle of the night the other night, turned over and opened his eyes, and said it was scary when he looked over at me. Now, mind you, we almost married 25 years and have been together almost 30. But for him to say that to me made me really self-conscious, and he's seen me at my "best" of times over the years. I never dreamed I could feel that way at this point. In the beginning of the therapy, yes, I felt a bit strange. But now? I was thinking maybe I wouldn't be so "scary" looking if I deconstructed it and didn't have the lockbox sitting on the top with all the different headgear straps, but I'm afraid to ruin it if I don't like it. I know if I told him that I was thinking like this, he'd feel terrible so I'm not saying a word. He didn't say it to hurt me, but he doesn't realize how sensitive an issue this can be. I'm not torn up over it if that's the way it sounds, just would like to look less like some science ficition creature at night if possible.

I know what works for you may not work for me. Let's digress: The Breeze. But I just want to hear your opinion, please. By the way, thank you for the famous RG illustrative photos. You are the best!
