HOW does the head gear stay on your head? I've been looking up these systems, and have seen the enlarged pictures...I'm just wondering this because there is only one apparent strap around the side. If you move, does IT move around? Doesn't look very stable to me I've got to change masks, and had congestion issues with the nasal mask before...maybe if I request pillows, the air will be forced into my nasal passages...read that yesterday here somewhere Gotta try something...I was fooling around so much with the mask and machine last night and complaining that my husband started getting irritated
I'm beginning to wonder if all of this is worth it...I'd be lessed stressed, and have time for my LIFE, if I wasn't spending the last 8 years trying to figure this out!!!!
I HATE CPAP!!!!!!
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRGH!!!!

Calm yourself, Barb. You will get through this...
Which system are you talking about? Post specific questions regarding specific masks and I'm sure that you will get answers that will be helpful.HOW does the head gear stay on your head? I've been looking up these systems, and have seen the enlarged pictures
Buy a new hat, drink a good wine, treat yourself, and someone you love, to a new bauble, live while you are alive... you never know when the mid-town bus is going to have your name written across its front bumper!

Maybe I'll get through it in another 8 years?
Breeze, Swift, Aura...they all are on the top of the head with one strap around the side of your face...just looks like if the side of the pillow (that my head is on, not the nasal pillow LOL) touched the mask, the mask would come off.

Barb -
I use the Breeze with nasal pillows and have no problems at all with it. I sleep on my stomach most of the night, but I do flip around from time to time and really don't notice any problems. I loop the hose over the top of my headboard to keep it from getting caught up on the side of the mattress, under my head, etc.
