I don't know what you did either, and as someone else said, if I did know, I forgot! (My memory leaves much to be desired!) But I loved your heartfelt apology. If you succeed in teaching your grandchildren to acknowledge their mistakes and to try to right their wrongs, that's more than enough, I think.

cotech, I'm glad you're still with us, I don't know what you're apologizing for either but it was brave of you to do so. This is a pretty forgiving bunch of good people who just want to help.

BTW, if LinkC accepts your apology, then you have nothing to worry about!

Welcome back, cotech50! So glad you're here. I feel embarrassed about many of my posts too, so you're not alone. This is a forgiving group of people, though, and I think they understand any temporary lapses in judgment. After all, who hasn't done that! Besides, I think there was truth in your comments. I didn't find them offensive.

Please don't be shy about posting in the future. We all learn from your questions as well as the assistance you give to others. Everyone's input is valued, whether newbie or oldtimer.

We all share a common bond with sleep apnea. It's important to have a place to come for answers and support from people who truly understand our struggles and our triumphs.

Welcome back cotech. I was not offended, but I do know what you're apologizing for - I'm so glad you're with us again - and that you feel friends enough to let us know it directly.

I'm pretty sure that credibility is not needed to post in this forum. But if you find out that I'm wrong, and that it is needed, please let me know right away--because if it is, I'm in MUCH more trouble than you are, believe me. I think people would want proof of my sanity before they even ASKED about my credibility.

jeff's right, but there's a kind of credibility we look for in the mirror, and you can tell the guy in the mirror that you've earned yours, cotech.

Post ahead, and if your question get lost in the flurry -- well, you know what to do now.

Signed: Another one of you cpap friends.

P.S.
O.

We're all adults here - don't continue to beat yourself up about it. It happens to all of us at some stage.

You've done the right thing and owned up. Now, it is history and we can all move on as before.

A nondenial denial.

I don't know who I am. And the foes list is something everyone is talking about.

I apologize for my being sorry about my asking for forgiveness, then.

Cotech - you are still sleep deprived but you are not a troll!

One of the great things about cpap therapy is that you will get over making those mistakes, your skin will get tougher and your personality will get gentler as you get enough sleep.

Please keep posting.
If you have a question post it, There are dozens of lurkers who want to see the answer to that question but haven't got your moxie to post it. So do it for them if it helps you.

Welcome back.

About 3 years ago there was a kinda new member whose sense of humor and compassion quickly endeared him to me. Then he made a bonehead remark that revelaed his imperfection and brought the wrath of the offended out of the woodwork so much I was feeling sorry for him even though I too was offended. He humbly apologized for his insensitivity and tried to start over. Then there was a thread where he made a comment that embarrassed him. He disappeared from the forum, and I felt sad about that for him, and hoped he had come back under another name. How sad that anyone's cpaptalk life would be defined by one interaction. Even outside this forum, If my life was defined by the missteps I've made, Lord help! Yes, I have felt humiliated and embarrassed, but those who loved me didn't bat an eye. Even when it was hard for me to believe, they believed I am so much more than my mistakes. We all are.
