Opinions on Respironics Remstar Plus C-Flex

Post by LilBuckaroo » Thu Oct 06, 2005 5:50 pm

I hadn't finished with my thoughts when I posted that question.

The CPAP's that these people get are from Medicare patients. It seems that they can get a new machine every year. The DME gets the machine and brings it to the store. They check it out, change the filters and sell it for a reduced price. I would get whatever is left on the warranty. The man told me that most on them have 2 years left on them. He also said that I would get the owner's manual.
Doing it this way, I would have someone local that I could take it to if something went wrong.

Why would you want to pay $500 for something used that you can get for $395 New ! Ask yourself this.. Why have they been returned .. I doubt the warranty remaining will be 2 years also. Yhe original warranty is only for 2 years .

Sounds like a racket to me .

BEWARE of the EVIL DME !
