RESMED ELITE II VS RESP. PR1 450 CPAP

haha, alright guys.... as you all may know i went threw hell getting my dad his RESMED Elite II w/ Humidifier. ( picks it up on thrusday this week)

as you know, RESPIRONICS now has a new top of the line machine... the PR1 450

what do i do, convince his DR to re-fill a script STATING he needs the PR1? or do i stick with the Elite II

PR1.. doesn't have user software... and if you get it, make sure that the DME supplying it has the software and reader to read the SD chip.

I'd stick with the Elite II.

When it comes to healthcare I wouldn't venture into the unknown with no software to determine where you are at.
