Intellipap software question

Post by pmcall57 » Sun Dec 06, 2009 9:38 am

I'm currently renting a Remstar Auto M-Series for two months, will be buying an APAP in early January. The default at my DME is that machine, but I'd like something that shows daily info on the LED. I've been researching and am choosing between the Intellipap or the Resmed Autoset. Insurance questions are irrelevant, I'll just pay for what I want if that's what it takes.

So here's my question ...

My therapy is going very smoothly. I feel it's unlikely I'd get into the advanced software available for the Resmed unless something starts to go awry. But I am still wondering whether the info provided by the Intellipap software is equivalent to the Resmed. I've seen timeline graphs produced by the Resmed -- does the Intellipap do that also?

Thanks for any advice.

Pam

Hello Pam - Sorry for the delay in responding to your question. The SmartLink software shows time line graphs similar to the ResMed except ResMed bar graphs are horizontal instead of vertical. Alternatively, you can use the SmartCode feature included with your IntelliPAP to review trends in the usage and compliance. Daily usage can be tracked via SmartCode if the codes are collected each day.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.
