Feeling like a train wreck...

Post by Cygnusia » Sun Dec 13, 2009 2:18 pm

I feel horrible today. Apparently last night I took off my mask and went back to sleep... probably because my sinuses are going haywire like they do every year around now. I woke up and I feel like it's the day after the first day on my new job again. I'm sore... everywhere.

I think I'm going to go lay down (with my mask on, of course...)

I feel for you--and I'm glad you have the opportunity for a nap.

I hope you feel better after your nap. What are you doing for your sinus problem?

So sorry to hear you feel so horrible today. One day at a time. And nap as often as you can.

Have you tried the nettie pot? It works wonders for me, If I am just having allergies. Its worth a shot. Just do it about 1 hr or so BEFORE sleeping. Don't do like me. I thought I would do it just before bed.
I almost went swimming in my mask, as the rest of the salt water finally decided to come out.
Lots of lessons to learn for me. As I am sure you know. take care and hope you feel better.

Oh, I feel your pain... Coming off a doozy of cold/sinus infection, alergies. Been sleeping a lot, seem's to have past. Feeling much better.....

HO, HO, HO, someone put a rotting Tree right outside my bedroom. I think this is partly to blame Hard to be a Grinch and stuff it up the chimney

If I'm not too knocked out, I'll sleep on my side with the mask off, put on the Oximeter with alarms set. Then, I'll review the data to see if things were OK or not... I don't like doing it, but it's dangerous to become fully clogged with a tape mouth, middle of the night...

Good luck,,

I've used the Netipot a little... but I have phobias involving water... and my face. I guess it's a serious drowning phobia. I try it and my flight response tries to kick in every time.

I am a BIG fan of TheraFlu and bought some today... also some sinus spray to help me through the rough patches.

I am lucky to be using a full-face mask, so at least I'm not trying to shove air through a blockage...
