Hi Secret, although someone may recognize the name some people may not remember it. Perhaps you would get a better response if you listed the town or community you are looking for a DME from.

Those are both suburbs of Minneapolis---west side-----the MSP in the subject line stands for Mpls-St. Paul.

I've only had minimal experience as of yet, but was very impressed with Fairview on University Ave in St. Paul, MN (just east of University & 280 for those familiar with the area). I tried on several masks, rolled from side to side using a machine set at my pressure for at least 7-10 minutes with each mask that seemed to fit me the best. Choosing was very easy---but took 60-90 minutes. I believe this greatly contributed to the success I've experienced with cpap.

Back to the original question.........years ago, Merwin's in Robbinsdale had an excellent reputation, but I'm not in that area anymore.

sag, it's really OK for all to post their assessment of a DME including mention of the DME name and city. Otherwise, how will keeping this information "secret" help others searching for a DME and asking the same question you did?

It's going to be okay in the end; if it's not okay, it's not the end.

Maybe I'm the out man out here but when people try to peak curiosity with vague subject lines (or just don't know how to relate the subject) - I just move on to the next post. Plus the vagueness really doesn't help when one is searching.

I do agree that sunshine is the best disinfectant and if we don't out the "Bad DME's" they will survive to rip-off the next new person.
