Sinus Pressure-Need feedback please.

Post by TClay » Tue Jan 11, 2005 8:46 am

I am new to cpap. I have the full face mask and the PB nasal pillows. I want to use the PB but it gives me incredible sinus presssure. Not congestion, but pressure. I have spoken to my DME and she talked about using a Cflex. I do not breathe through my mouth but the full face mask is easier to exhale on but is uncomfortable to wear for a person lying on their side. Is the clex the answer or should I continue to try to use the PB with the regular cpap? I have been using the cpap for four or five days now. I stopped using the ramp feature because it would wake me up. I have a pressure of 14. The DME said I could decrease that pressure if I used the PB nasal pillows. Is that true? Please everyone give me your thoughts and experience. I have truly enjoyed this forum because it contains the expertise of people who use cpap!
