Maintenance of Wakefulness Test

Post by SleepyT » Tue Nov 17, 2009 7:16 pm

Has anyone gone through a MWT (Maintenance of Wakefulness Test)? I need to take one within the next 3 months for DOT purposes. Any tips for staying alert would be appreciated.

There was a thread recently

Good luck - the previous poster seemed to be set up for failure - by being forced to do a titration the night before the test.

Keep the person in a strange room, hookup, wake them up to do titration - I bet if you rounded up a random sample of commercial drivers lots of them would fail under those conditions too.

Thanks. I will check out that thread. I don't have to do a titration the night before, thankfully...that would indeed be awful.
