Follow up with RT at clinic.

Just wanted you to all know that I had a follow up with the RT at the Sleep clinic today! Everything was great. He's excited that I've taken a proactive response to my treatment and when he printed out the data--the numbers looked really good although I'm still struggling with leaks sometimes. I'll have one good night and then one not so good but I guess that's par for the course. I am feeling better although I still get tired and have still fallen asleep at church (when I DON"T want to!) however they think with time it will improve. I asked about the CPAP and the proceedure i'm having on TUesday and he said to be sure to tell them I have OSA but there shouldn't be a problem and I'll bring it just in case. I did finally figure out how to get my masks apart for cleaning so that was good. I also gave him the forum name etc. for patients who need support. I'm really liking this sleep clinic --they don't just turn you loose on your own--they stick by you 100% and make sure it's working for you and if it's not find out why.

Always good to hear a positive report after an appointment. Hopefully those "off" nights will be far outweighed by the good ones. Not sure how long you've been at this, but the sleepiness should improve with proper treatment and adequate sleep. If it continues, do follow up to investigate the cause. May your upcoming procedure go well and likewise produce a good report.
