Post by frostman » Wed Sep 28, 2005 7:04 pm

I am trying to save data about once every 2 weeks from encore pro and put it in an excel spreadsheet. I was able to take some data from myencore into a text file and then put in excel. my encore won't read my current data, any ideas on how to export byweekly data???

Frostman,

When you've made up the report for the dates you want to cover and are in the report (have it open), go to the top left and click on "File." From there you have the option to export the file to either a HTML, PDF, TIFF folder you've created on your hard drive or email your report to someone. I keep mine in a file on my hard drive I set up for them as PDF's and save them whenever I import my data off the card.

Hope this is what you were looking for.

Lori, you can't put pdf data in an excel spreadsheet, although that is a great way to save the various reports for sure

Oh, now I get it. I never have used Excel so I know nothing about it. I thought you were looking for a way to save your reports. Sorry, but lately I just keep misunderstanding everyone's posts. Think I need to walk away from the site for a few years or so...

Thanks, Cary. It gets to you, though, when you keep making stupid mistakes in understanding what help it is people are asking for...
