They are quiet, user friendly, and DeVilbiss is very much into being patient friendly. The availability of smart code monitoring online is a great feature. If one doesn't need A-flex, or C-flex, they are a great choice.
I knew there was a machine (or two) that I neglected to list! Thanks for adding that. We certainly are fortunate to have so many choices these days.

I 've been looking for the cleaner and disinfector on the internet, but only a facility called cpap guardian was found,it is ozone disinfect ,anyone used this facility? How is it? Do i have to separate it?
Just clean and/or change the filters. That will keep the dust OUT of the inside of the machine. There's dust EVERYWHERE and we breathe it constantly.
Sorry, but your premise and proposed solution is a bit silly and unnecessary.

Yikes -- you had scary-high blood pressure! I know what you mean about all the possible drug side effects! Reading the package inserts scares me too, and it motivates me to do everything I can to avoid taking medication!
I read elsewhere that you are diabetic. I suppose that has a lot to do with your blood pressure difficulties. It sounds like you're doing whatever you can to improve your health. I hope you achieve all your goals!

Thanks,
Actually, the diabetes is a recent thing, and appears to be controlled by diet and a bunch of Metformin. The blood pressure is almost 30 years now, and needs constant work. I've overpowered two previous drug therapies, one of which may have ended in an serious overdose, and a lot of experimentation to try to keep it under control. Currently it takes about half a dozen meds plus to control it.
I just wish I had been checked for Apnea back then. That may be the original issue.

Are you taking an angiotension receptor blocker? They work well to control the kind of hypertension we get from oxygen starvation. Good article:

That's a very interesting study. Thanks for sharing that, Muse-Inc! It's good to see that research is being done.
I've been using CPAP for only a short time (two weeks as of tonight), but my blood pressure has been coming down steadily since the beginning. I am on medication for high BP, but it was still a bit above normal before I started. Tonight it was only 112/65! Yipee! We'll see what happens as time goes on....

It says that they work for patients who are intolerant of ACE inhibitor therapy. I'm about maxed out on an ACE inhibitor right now, so when that starts to fail, they might be a good next step. Sure would beat looking like a gorilla, and waiting for my pericardium to blow. I'll talk to my Cardiologist. Thanks.
As far as the oxygen starvation part, for me right now, the damage is already done. My BP was first diagnosed in '81, and my memory loss was in '88. I had my sleep lab about 10 years after that. If SA caused the BP and memory issues, I would have been untreated for almost 20 years or more.
