Yep, there is a clock chip in your machine. Not a very good one however. It looses about 45 minites a year. It can be reset only with a special cable and program which very few besides the factory have access to. It is set to GMT and if you read your data your computer will convert it to your time zone. Powered by a small battery that has about a 5 year life. Not sure what happens if it goes completely dead. It got fooled last night when daylight savings went off. My report said I slept 1 hour less than I actually did due to the time change.
