I recently tried the Optilife pillow mask but it started to leak a lot so I went back to the Ultra Mirage II Nasal. I noticed that I seem to struggle more to get a comfortable air flow with the Mirage after using the OptiLife. Felt like I had to breathe in harder.
The Mirage seals better so I want to keep using but I'm concerned about the above issue.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Tom C

Re: Ultra Mirage II nasal vs OptiLife
Are you using the ramp?
I have tried both of these masks and do notice with the pillow masks that the air seems a tad more forceful -- probably in my mind it is because the air directed directly into the nose and not "spread" out.
I have panic attacks and I feel that when I have the feeling of not being able to breathe as comfortably I become anxious and it creates a cycle.
The air flow should be the same and shouldn't be a problem (unless you are like me and it is more of a "in my head" thing).
