Celebrating Four Years!

Post by Lee Lee » Wed Oct 28, 2009 6:14 am

Hello, All,
Four years have come and gone since I started the roller coaster ride of therapy for OSA. I haven't been posting here very often for awhile, although I read the posts at least 3 times a week.
Lately, I've been concentrating on helping my husband to become compliant with his own therapy, and I think my posts were becoming boring, since that's all I seemed to talk about. It's been frustrating to say the least. That's why I stopped posting.
This forum and the good people that are members of it taught me how to stay with my therapy, and how to help others with theirs. I'm very grateful, because without it, I would've given up quickly.
For the newbies, please stick with it..keep changing things around, keep learning, keep on keeping on.It's worth it.
Loving not falling asleep at redlights,
Lee Ann

Congrats Lee Ann--that is wonderful. Four years is a big milestone, as you've become a veteran, and treatment is now as routine as taking a shower!!! I am also glad that your husband is on the hose, no matter how frustrating. He is taking a huge step towards wellness, and you're helping him. That is wonderful, and I, for one, think you two should celebrate. He may be going nuts now, but will thank you later.

My anniversary of 12 years is coming up in December. I was diagnosed in my 40's and feel great for the last decade! So, welcome to the "long timers" club, and I wish your husband only the best in his quest for compliance.

David

Lee Ann, congratulations and I'd never be bored with updates on your hubby's therapy. It would be helpful to me and others. I hope no one gets bored with my ongoing saga. This forum keeps me going. Dori

Congrats, Lee Lee!

I know how frustrating it is when someone you love just won't cooperate. ( ) (I'm sure my dad has OSA, but he turns a deaf ear when I bring it up.) Keep working on hubby as gently but firmly as you can, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that he becomes compliant and starts to feel a positive difference soon.
Veni, vidi, Velcro. I came, I saw, I stuck around.
