obstructive sleep apnea moderate
How long does it take for cpap machine to help? I have been on it for 8 weeks and a only see a very small difference. It is very difficult still getting up in the morning and also taking a shower it exhausts me. What do you suggest I do? hopeless

Knowing what your equipment is and the pressures your machine's set at would help an awful lot. Without them, it's very hard to speculate.

Riverdweller ....you said that ......"it is very hard getting up in the morning"
How long do you sleep?.....do you sleep soundly?.....do you snore?.......Do you wake up often?......Do you keep your mask on all night?

RD, if you fill out a profile with the equipment you use, it would be possible to make some suggestions. Ithink the first problem here is that you are relying on a qualitative feeling that its not working out well, and there is no way anyone can disagree with that. The real question is why things aren't working out, and that answer most likely comes from data recorded by the cpap machine. If your machine can't record data, you have to wonder how anyone, especially your doctor, would ever come up with a solution for the problem.
